Discover museums in a whole new light—the 22nd annual Brno Museum Night is here. You can enjoy the unique atmosphere and program at dozens of museums, galleries, and cultural institutions throughout Brno.

- 6–11 PM (last entry at 10:30 PM)
At the Mendel Museum and the Old Brno Abbey Museum, visitors will be able to tour all of the permanent exhibitions:
- Gregor Johann Mendel: The Story of a Humble Genius
- Genetics: A Fascinating Journey into the Cell Nucleus
- Treasures of the Monastery
Program:
- 6.30 PM Medieval chant from Eliška Rejčka's antiphonary / performed by a women's choir led by Zuzana Badárová, Treasures of the Monastery exhibition
- 7.30 PM Tour of the basilica with Eliška Rejčka / guided tour, Czech only
- 8.30 PM Tour of the basilica with Eliška Rejčka / guided tour, Czech only
- 9.30 PM Tour of the basilica with Eliška Rejčka / guided tour, Czech only
For young visitors, there will also be a special program starting at 6 PM in the exhibits and other areas of the museum:
- Measuring rainfall with Gregor / making a simple rain gauge
- Embroidery workshop / crafting and finding inspiration in art from the monastery's collections
Tours of the basilica are in Czech only and are subject to a fee. Reserve in advance by emailing asistent@mendelmuseum.muni.cz.
