Photoreport: Tours of the Apiary with Gregor Mendel

During this year’s Mendel Festival, the Mendel Museum of Masaryk University opened a new exhibition in Mendel’s apiary, which is now open to visitors for the first time. On Sunday, July 19, at the conclusion of the festival, the apiary welcomed the most qualified guide of all—a costumed guide portraying Gregor Mendel himself introduced visitors to beekeeping and Mendel’s apiary.

The interior of the apiary is now accessible as part of the guided tour “Garden, Apiary and Mendel’s Greenhouse.”
