Mendel Day and reopening of the museum

The Mendel Museum reopens on 8 March - we will also celebrate International Mendel Day!

After the reception reconstruction, we look forward to seeing you soon—we are opening on Saturday, 8 March, in a new style and with a rich programme! 160 years ago, on 8 March 1865, Gregor Mendel presented the conclusions of his research on plant hybrids to the members of the Society of Natural Sciences in Brno.

Unfortunately, the programme on 8 March will be in Czech only - but if you plan a visit, the Mendel Museum will be fully open from this date! If you are interested in visiting and booking your tour, contact us at asistent@mendelmuseum.muni.cz
