Brno Museum Night 2025

Experience the magic of a night of culture, art and discovery! Come to the 21st Brno Museum Night and enjoy the unique atmosphere in dozens of museums, galleries and cultural institutions.

• Saturday 17 May 2025
• 6–11 pm (last entry at 10:30 pm)

In the Mendel Museum and Old Brno Abbey Museum, it will be possible to see all the permanent exhibitions:

• Gregor Johann Mendel – The Story of a Humble Genius
• Genetics: A Fascinating Journey into the Cell Nucleus
• The Treasures of the Abbey

There will also be an accompanying programme for children's visitors from 6 pm in the exhibitions and other museum areas. The program will be presented in Czech, but all our lecturers are open to communication in English!

• Microworld of Fingerprints / Examining your own fingerprints under the microscope
• At Mendel's Table / Tasting and discovering the 19th-century Augustinian menu
• Treasures of the Old Brno Monastery / Solving a crossword puzzle in the Treasures of the Abbey exhibition

Entrance to the exhibitions, including the accompanying programme, is free.
