Looking back at the Mendel Festival 2023
The Mendel Festival took place on 21 and 22 July.
As part of the promotion of the festival, visitors could try our group game Become a Meteorologist the week before the festival.
On Saturday 22 July, the Mendel Museum was part of the afternoon programme for families, offering activities in three stands:
- The world up close, where visitors could make their own slide
- About the bird's voice, where we introduced the most famous species of songbirds
- Mendel Art Workshop
Hundreds of visitors visited the stands, others went through the open expositions of the museum. RECETOX, Bioscope and CEITEC with their own stands were also part of the programme as the part of MU. The Mendel Greenhouse also hosted a series of expert lectures. The Saturday afternoon programme was attended by over 4,000 visitors. In total - including the evening concerts - the Mendel Festival attracted over 20,000 visitors.
